Hazelnuts (white, roasted)
These hazelnuts are freshly dry roasted in small batches in our oven in Curaçao. We roast at a maximum of 140°C, which helps preserve as many nutrients as possible while creating a deeper flavor and extra crunch. The brown skins have already been removed, so you get a smooth, white hazelnut with a clean look and taste.
You can choose between unsalted or lightly salted. For the salted version we only use high quality salts: Himalayan salt or Celtic sea salt.
What do they taste like?
Roasted white hazelnuts have a warm, toasty flavor with a fuller crunch compared to the raw version. Without the skin, the taste is lighter, sweeter, and especially pleasant in snacks and baked goods.
