Our Gold Sea Moss is 100% natural, wild-harvested and sun-dried in St. Lucia. Sea moss is a type of marine algae that has been traditionally consumed for generations and is valued for its natural mineral content. Carefully harvested from Caribbean waters and dried under the sun, it retains its natural properties without additives or preservatives.
Gold sea moss has a mild, slightly salty, ocean-like flavor. Once soaked and blended into a gel, its taste becomes more neutral, making it easy to incorporate into everyday meals and drinks.
Naturally contains iodine, an essential mineral for normal thyroid function.
Contains various minerals, including magnesium, potassium, and calcium, although amounts may vary.
Contains natural soluble fibers that may support digestive health.
Provides naturally occurring compounds with antioxidant properties.
Offers a plant-based way to add variety to your daily nutrient intake.
Dried sea moss must be cleaned and soaked before use. Once prepared into a gel, start with 1 teaspoon daily and gradually increase to 2 teaspoons if desired. The appropriate amount depends on the iodine content and your individual dietary needs.
Rinse the dried sea moss thoroughly several times to remove any salt, sand, or debris.
Place in a bowl and cover completely with fresh, filtered water.
Soak for 12–24 hours until soft and expanded.
Drain, rinse again, and blend with fresh water until smooth and creamy. Adjust the water to achieve your preferred consistency. The gel will thicken in the fridge.
Transfer the gel to a clean, airtight container and refrigerate.
Add the prepared gel to smoothies or fresh juices.
Stir into oatmeal, chia pudding, or plant-based yogurt.
Use as a natural thickener in soups, sauces, or dressings.
Blend into homemade desserts and puddings.
Enjoy the prepared gel straight from the spoon.
Store dried sea moss in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place. Once prepared into a gel, keep refrigerated and use within 2–3 weeks.
