Brazil Nuts (roasted)
These Brazil nuts are freshly dry roasted in small batches in our oven in Curaçao. We roast at a maximum of 140°C, which helps preserve as many nutrients as possible without losing the crunchy texture. No oil is used, only time, heat, and attention. The result is a roasted Brazil nut with a deeper flavor and extra crunch.
You can choose between unsalted or lightly salted. For the salted version we only use high quality salts: Himalayan salt or Celtic sea salt.
What do they taste like?
Roasted Brazil nuts have a warm, toasted flavor with a creamy inside and a crunchier bite compared to the raw version. The natural sweetness turns richer, making them especially satisfying as a snack.
What are the possible health benefits?
Exceptionally high in selenium, a mineral important for thyroid support, immune function, and antioxidant defense
Also a good source of magnesium, copper, phosphorus, manganese, and thiamin
Contain healthy fats like oleic and linoleic acids, along with protein and fiber
Because of the very high selenium content, you only need a small amount. Just a few Brazil nuts a day is enough to cover your needs
How can you use them?
Snack on them straight from the bag
Add to savory dishes or grain bowls for rich flavor
Chop and sprinkle over salads for extra crunch
Use as a topping for roasted vegetables or soups
Blend into dips or spreads
Perfect addition to a snack board or as a side for drinks
