Almonds (roasted)
These almonds are freshly dry roasted in small batches in our oven in Curaçao. We roast at a maximum of 140°C, which helps preserve as many nutrients as possible without losing the crunchy texture. No oil is used, only time, heat, and attention. The result is a roasted almond with deeper flavor and extra crunch.
You can choose between unsalted or lightly salted. For the salted version we only use high quality salts: Himalayan salt or Celtic sea salt.
What do they taste like?
Roasted almonds have a warm, nutty flavor with a fuller, toasted bite. The natural sweetness of the almond becomes slightly richer after roasting, and the texture is crunchier than the raw version.
What are the possible health benefits?
A solid source of riboflavin, vitamin E, niacin, magnesium, manganese, copper, and phosphorus
One serving gives you roughly 7% of your daily calcium and 8% of your iron
