Cashew Pasta Sauce (vegan)
If you don’t eat dairy products, it can be hard to satisfy cravings for creamy pasta. Well, we’ve got the perfect recipe for you! - 150 grams cashews
- ½ onion
- 180 ml water
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ tbsp lemon/lime juice
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Soak the cashews for at least 6 hours (this will improve the creaminess) and rinse them. Use hot water to soak soak the cashews faster.
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Add water when too thick.
- You can use this right away or put it in the fridge for later use!
- Put this sauce together with your favorite pasta, tomatoes, basil, veggies, and all the other stuff you enjoy in your pasta!
